At Clear Water Service Corporation, our goal is to provide safe, clean water to all of our residents and businesses! Located on the west edge of Coles County in the township of Paradise, we were incorporated in June of 1974, with the first services receiving water in December of 1978. We currently supply water to rural Coles and rural Cumberland Counties, along with a few services into Shelby County. We have over 300 miles of water pipe servicing over 3,000 members. We wholesale water to Lake Mattoon Public Water District. For the majority of our services, we pump water from six wells drilled in Coles County. However, we do purchase treated water thru Embarras Area Water District for a portion of our system.
